Our Vocational School is located in Göynük Neighborhood of Kemer District of Antalya, 37 km from the university. Göynük is a touristic settlement with its blue flag sea, natural beauties and many tourism establishments.

History

The foundation of the building was laid on April 30, 2011 by the Municipality of Göynük. The vocational school, which was built by the Municipality of Göynük with its own resources, is the first and only higher education institution in Kemer and its surroundings.

Göynük Culinary Arts Vocational School was established with the decision taken at the meeting of the General Council of Higher Education on February 20, 2014 and became the first thematic college in Turkey to offer associate degree education in the field of culinary arts.

Physical Infrastructure

The building of the school was built in accordance with the construction license dated 10.05.2011 and numbered 2011/11, with a capacity and physical planning suitable for culinary arts education. While the total area of ​​the parcel is 3,415 m2, the total square meter of the building based on the license is 5,130.

In the school building, there are 9 classrooms, 2 language laboratories, 1 conference hall, 1 meeting room, 1 library, 2 technical offices, 1 student affairs office, 14 administrative offices, 1 hobby hall, 1 canteen, There are 1 dining hall, 2 practice kitchens, 1 molecular kitchen, 3 cold stores, 1 service practice area, 1 barista practice area, 2 patisseries.

Transport

Goynuk Town is 45 km from Antalya airport. The town is 9 km from the town center and 35 km from the city centre. The town has a regular road connection with the surrounding provinces and districts. The town is located in the west of Kemer district in the southwest of Antalya and it is possible to reach this route at any time of the day.

Education

Akdeniz University Goynuk Culinary Arts Vocational School, Hotel, Restaurant and Services Department accepts students for Cookery, Catering, Pastry and Bakery programs within the scope of formal education.

Theoretical and practical training of the students of our Vocational School will be given in our vocational school building. In this context, students will have the opportunity to practice both in the accommodation establishments in the region of our vocational school and in the application areas within the school building.
